Holiday Blues

'Blue' - the movie we decided to start our Diwali holidays with...really left us feeling blue:( The movie is like watching MTV to a background of National Geographic Marine Documentary. The story line, if you can call it that, is wafer thin and barely manages to hold the interest. Photography is breathtaking but if you are a NatGeo or Discovery Channel buff...nothing new. Ageing heroes, desultory editing, inane dialogues, insane testosterone spiked stunts does not make for an entertaining movie. Kylie Minogue looks washed out when compared with our desi Lara Dutta who looks like a million bucks. If Captain Haddock were to put it succinctly to Tintin - he would say Blue Blistering Barnacles and he would have it pat! Unless you have nothing better to do, don't increase your blues:-)
